Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Gain extensive experience in the Oil and Gas industry within the civil discipline.
- Deliver the technical tasks and monitor the progress of the external service providers in the delivery of engineering deliverables and materials to the site.
- Support and assist the civil works on site.
- The scope comprises all Civil engineering tasks at PF1, and PF2, existing and new Well pads, Roads, and Flowline installation such as Production of design deliverables, Estimation of BoQ,
- Estimation of Capex for civil works, monitoring of the execution of the Work at Site, and Arranging site surveys.
Requirements:
- BSc in Civil Engineering
- 10+ years of experience in the Civil Engineering field in industry, though not necessarily in the Oil & Gas sector as training will be given in applying appropriate Civil Engineering methods.
- Understanding of Civil Engineering Theories and practical application of these.
- Basic understanding of Structural Modelling., Reinforced Concrete. and Structural Steel.
- Geotechnical Engineering.
- Drainage Engineering.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD drafting software.
- Strong understanding of site construction practices.
- Experience working in petrochemical installations will be a benefit.
- Knowledge of pipeline/flowline construction will be a benefit.
- Fluency in written and spoken English.
- A team player capable of working within a team with personnel from many diverse backgrounds.
- A willingness and ability to develop his/her own skill set by on-the-job training.
- Self-starter with a strong desire to deliver superior results.
- Good presentation, communication, and writing skills.
- Logical thinking and analytical skills.
