Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all camp operations, including accommodation, housekeeping, and common facilities management.
- Ensure camp operations comply with company policies, local regulations, and safety standards.
- Conduct regular inspections of accommodation, and common areas to ensure cleanliness and maintenance.
- Supervise camp staff, including housekeeping, general labourers and gym staff.
- Develop work schedules and ensure staff availability to meet the camp’s operational needs.
- Provide training and guidance to staff to maintain high service standards.
- Act as the main point of contact for camp residents and resolve any issues or complaints promptly.
- Ensure high levels of customer service and satisfaction among camp residents.
- Manage stock levels for catering, cleaning supplies, and other essential camp materials.
- Coordinate with the procurement team to ensure timely delivery of supplies.
- Maintain inventory records and ensure cost-effective operations.
- Maintain good relations with local suppliers, contractors and service companies.
- Prepare and submit regular reports on camp operations, staff performance, and budget management.
- Plan and assist with the installation, construction and improvements of all camps and office complexes.
- Ensure compliance and safety guidelines to all accommodated personnel on camp with regular review and updating of camp rules and procedures when required.
- Provide daily reports to management.
Requirements:
- Proficient in English and Report Writing.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Preferred certification in Facility Management, HACCP certification or related.
- Proven 5+ years’ experience as a Camp Boss, Camp Manager, or similar role in remote or industrial camp settings.
- Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to supervise a diverse team.
- Knowledge of camp services including housekeeping, catering, and facility maintenance.
- Good understanding of health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
- Good knowledge of Outlook, Excel, Word & PPT is required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to manage staff and resident relations.
- Ability to manage budgets and resources efficiently.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
Working Conditions:
Rotational Job: 2 weeks on/2 weeks off.
