Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead the wellsite team with overall responsibility for conducting well operations safely and efficiently.
- Ensure strict compliance with the company's HSSE policies, procedures, and standards.
- Lead all wellsite safety meetings, including service company pre-job safety meetings.
- Conduct daily toolbox talks and safety briefings.
- Lead hazard identification, risk assessments, and mitigation measures.
- Ensure proper and timely reporting of incidents and near misses.
- Perform daily HSSE and contractor equipment inspections.
- Conduct safety drills related to well control and other operational hazards.
- Participate in HSSE and non-conformance investigations and reporting as required.
- Act as the focal point on location for emergency response.
- Coordinate well operations with all contractors on site to ensure full compliance with the approved well program and the company's procedures.
- Supervise rig crew, service companies, and third-party vendors to ensure proper execution of tasks.
- Ensure all personnel clearly understand job expectations, operational steps, and safety requirements.
- Evaluate contractor performance and escalate quality or performance issues as needed.
- Verify
material and equipment requirements and coordinate logistics to ensure readiness.
- Provide input for planning and continuous program optimization.
- Monitor operational spending and ensure activities remain within budget.
- Identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements to enhance operational performance.
- Ensure well control readiness at all times, including equipment checks and crew preparedness.
- Verify adherence to instructions, procedures, and the approved program.
- Organize pre-job operational and safety meetings on site.
- Check all completion equipment and tools upon delivery to confirm readiness and QA/QC compliance.
- Assist, when required, with the company's Well Service Rig operations (supervision, reporting, etc.).
- Maintain daily communication with the Well Intervention Superintendent and relevant office-based teams.
- Prepare accurate and timely Daily Well Reports (DWR) during all well intervention and workover operations.
- Prepare and update the Daily Cost Report (DCR) for all operations.
- Discuss program changes with the Well Services team and proactively
propose improvement ideas
Requirements:
- Technical qualification in a relevant field.
- Minimum 10–12 years of experience in Completions and Workover operations, including 4–5 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of downhole tools, artificial lift systems, well control, and completion techniques.
- Valid
IWCF Level 4 Supervisor certification.
- Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to manage diverse teams.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities in high-pressure environments.
- Solid understanding of industry HSSE principles and practices.
- Ability to read, interpret, and execute well schematics and completion programs.
- Competent
in digital reporting tools and common computer applications.
Working Conditions:
Field Base, Rotation: 14 days ON / 14 days OFF.
