Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Inventory Management
& Control Ensure the accurate and
timely receipt, storage, and issuance of materials and equipment.
- Implement inventory
control systems to track stock levels, order fulfillment, and forecast future
needs.
- Conduct regular audits to
minimize discrepancies and avoid stockouts or overstocking, ensuring materials
availability for critical operations.
- Health, Safety, and
Environmental (HSE) Compliance Ensure that all warehouse
operations adhere to oil and gas industry-specific HSE regulations and best
practices.
- Oversee the safe
handling, storage, and disposal of hazardous materials, following all
environmental protocols.
- Conduct regular safety
drills and ensure staff are trained in emergency response and safe material
handling procedures.
- Manage the inbound and
outbound logistics, ensuring timely delivery and receipt of materials to and
from drilling sites, refineries, or offshore platforms.
- Coordinate with
procurement and transport teams to optimize material flow and minimize downtime
due to material unavailability.
- Optimize warehouse layout
to ensure efficient movement and storage of high-volume and bulky equipment.
- Team Management &
Training.
- Lead, supervise, and
train the warehouse team to ensure productivity, compliance, and safety.
- Monitor team performance,
set objectives, and develop training programs to enhance operational
efficiency.
- Foster a culture of
continuous improvement and safety awareness among the warehouse staff.
- System & Process
Optimization.
- Implement and manage
warehouse management systems (WMS) or enterprise resource planning (ERP) tools
to improve the accuracy of stock data and operational efficiency.
- Continuously analyze
operational workflows to identify opportunities for automation, cost reduction,
and process improvements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional
teams to integrate new technologies and methodologies that enhance warehouse
operations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor in Business Administration/Civil/Petroleum/Chemical/Mechanical Engineering.
- 3 plus years of experience in a similar field.
- Fluent in English and Kurdish. Intermediate in Arabic.
- Advanced Knowledge in ERP and (relative software used for warehousing and procurement based on her/his work history). Excellent in Excel.
- An organized, able to manage and cooperate.
Working Conditions:
Site-based, (5-6) Days per week & (8) hours per day.
