Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- To generate a clear Shutdown list of all Shutdown activities.
- Define job scopes to assess the required resources internally or externally.
- Develop work inventory, detailed job plans, and cost estimate.
- Develop an integrated shutdown schedule, ensuring schedule logic is accurate in conjunction with asset planners.
- Drive the schedule toward minimum duration.
- Chair shutdown scope challenge and review meetings.
- Assure a safe environment while performing (Pre, during, and post execution) of Shutdown activities.
- Ensure all appropriate resident resources are committed and verify their capability to perform their scope of work within the specified window.
- Ensure pre- and post-work is completed according to the Master Schedule with all safety precautions.
- Meet regularly with Facilities and Senior Management to ensure the readiness of the capital project.
- Assure the smooth entry of all contractors to the plant ahead of work.
- Develop a shutdown road map from 1 year out and ensure milestones are achieved.
- Integrate maintenance, operation, and engineering schedules.
- Assure the availability of all material required prior to & during the Shutdown.
- Assure smooth execution of maintenance and operation activities prior to and during the Shutdown within the schedule.
- Assure no conflict with the execution of Engineering Capital Projects.
- Control “Growth” pre-shutdown and track removal work.
- Complete the shutdown within budget.
- Ensure job plans are closed out and archived correctly.
- Assure ample resources are arranged for the scope of shutdown work.
- Assure all learning is captured post Shutdown through formal critique meetings with Maintenance, Operations, and Engineering, and other supporting groups if required
Requirements:
- 10 years of experience in oil and gas production or maintenance discipline with an internationally recognized trade qualification.
- Plus 3 years of experience in shutdown management and coordination.
- Strong coordination capabilities.
- Strong communication skills.
- Must be confident and a good presenter of information and chair shutdown meetings.
- Applicants should be capable of assessing planning and job packages developed by the shutdown discipline teams and planners, and assess their feasibility considering project and operations activities.
- Candidates must be proficient in the English language, both verbal and written.
- Good computer skills must be computer literate and able to use MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
