Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Support the operations team with troubleshooting, plant optimisation and root cause analysis.
- Support the Project and Production / Operations teams, including the assessment of engineering
queries and creation of management of change (MOC) documentation.
- Provide process engineering input to assist in the creation of work scopes for process related studies
(e.g., conceptual, feasibility, etc.).
- Provide process engineering input to engineering project work, including review and approval of engineering documents such as P&IDs, C&Es, etc.
- Review specifications for process equipment and assess their suitability.
- Participate in project HAZOPs, as required.
- Review actions from previous HAZOPs and progress their completion.
- Promote an integrated approach by working within a multi-disciplinary team to incorporate process,
mechanical and E&I engineering expertise into the design and construction
of Company facilities.
- Interface with other Company engineers to ensure that best practices are defined and shared.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Process or Chemical Engineering.
- Member of an internationally recognized Professional Engineering Association.
- A minimum of 10 years of relevant onshore upstream oil and gas industry experience.
- International oil and gas experience in the MENA region.
- Effective leader and team player.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently
and as part of a team.
Working Conditions:
Office based role and 4/4 rotation.
